perhaps you will notice the donate button on the top left. i am going to need some help paying the rent. i have no delusions--i know a great deal of the traffic that comes my way is here only because of my participation in the daily grind. you could care less about some poor near-college-grad. you are probably poor like me. that is okay. if you are rich though, you should sell one of your monacles and give me the money you make from that. nobody needs that many monacles. jerk.

would anyone be interested in receiving a mini of my comics? i made one made up primarily of my better comics for a class, and i could make more. perhaps if you donate $5 or more you'd receive one. it'd be dumb to say this quite yet since i don't know if anyone would want one, so leave a comment of your opinion. a lot of the more interesting comments are occurring these days on my lj feed, link in the top left.

i figured out that over the past three nights i've gotten, maybe, five hours of sleep total. i think i'm going to sleep in tomorrow. i am feeling all squirrel-headed, so if this post makes no sense, sorry.

squirrel-headed means my head is full of squirrels.

so, i'm pulling an all-nighter. probably the last of my collegiate career. to write a critical research paper on existential modalism, which is a philosophy that i made up. probably the last paper of my collegiate career. wish me luck. better comics when no school to bother me. will probably make a donate button soon in hopes that i might have money to live after graduation. also, i'll figure out some donate-this-much-receive-mini-comic deal.

also, mitchell landsman reads this comic, and i am honored. you should read his comic, seriously. it and american elf are my two staple journal comics. the art is great, the writing is great, and the updates are often. i started reading it about a year ago. i have forgotten how i found it, and i guess i've never read it being plugged anywhere. go read it now.

also also, i will respond to e-mails and comments when this craziness is over. thank you for reading everybody.

so, death is coming quickly for me. i'm going to be up all night trying to print out a mini to turn into a class i'm taking. the positive side: if i lose the grind this week, i'll still have a mini of most of the comics i've posted here, so if you're interested, perhaps you will be able to purchase one.

also, i have a ten page research paper i'm going to have to do all in one go tomorrow. not sure how that's going to happen. i was going to have a series this week about belief and god, but i decided just to try and get something up rather than kill myself.

so this week will be a little series. you may notice that it is going to be simple. this is because i have all my final projects/papers due this week. next week will be exams.

if there is any time that i'd drop out of the grind, it would be the next two weeks. also, all the weeks following those weeks if i move into an apartment without an internet connection.

p.s. today tim and i looked at an apartment that was cheap and also very cool. so maybe we'll get that. i hope so. we are both scrambling for money, so i will be selling lots of crap on ebay. perhaps i will link some of it here.

i have just turned down the chance to see the play arcadia at notre dame, in favor of doing the piles of homework i need to do. i hope i will not regret this decision. the last papers, exams, and school projects of my life will be completed (hopefully) in the next two weeks. crazy.

in other news: those are some awesome posters in ryan's room. i also would like me to touch me. and you can probably get that t-shirt at your neighborhood christian bookstore.

drawn at steak and shake. went to laura's play with tim, bethany, and alicia. then to steak and shake. not real sure why that guy in front of us at the play thought he could get away with straight-up farting in public. the best was when he'd lean, to make it more silent. it didn't work, so he sort of sat up, got both cheeks off the chair for his next fart, and it was as loud as the rest. CLASSY.

you know what's more classy? making a comic about it. boo-yah. apologies to nara for including this song along with a fart-centric comic. though she is not alive to be offended.

my writing is the polar opposite of my comics, i would say. this novella i'm working on is convoluted and absurd. for instance: the two main characters are talking in a cab for a while, and then they are attacked by killer robots. end of first chapter.
