i have moved over to livejournal now. i've been meaning to for a while. it is just easier that way. one place for comments and no more fiddling with my server except to upload things. hoo-ray.

so: go here for more comics! today is the entire first page of hobo failure. i will be updating there only from now on, so this blog will become useless and i'll probably set it up to forward to my lj. the syndicated feed will be useless as well.

the only downside is that i lose all my blogger comments, and i almost feel compelled to reproduce them. like maybe i'll go to the captain awesome comics and post BOOARG BOOARG a couple dozen times.

START THE WEEKEND RIGHT BY GETTIN' SOAKED AND THEN SITTING AROUND YOUR APARTMENT BY YOURSELF UNTIL YOU'RE TIRED


so i am hurting because i have not gotten to work on my "hobo failure" mini for many weeks. so maybe you will see me work on that for updates next week? it is hard to say!

also, i felt something crawling on my leg, and surprise! one of the millipedal creatures i live with. i don't know how you got in my pants, millipedal creature, but i do know that AWESOME.

he is upset because he accidentally scheduled his child's birthday party for the same time as the secret meeting of a cult he inadvertently became the leader of. perhaps he will have to run between the two events, changing clothing. perhaps there will be confusion, and he will ask his child's guests to drink poison kool-aid. the joke is that some people's needs are met by irrational, personality-driven religious sects to such a great degree that they are willing to abandon their families and take their own lives. ha ha. i get the joke.

sara and tom took me to buy groceries so that i can eat again. thank you guys again times a million! it is going to take work to get used to eating again though! it's kind of uncomfortable, at first.

jason turner's true loves is as good as people say. possibly better?

not sure how i have lived without knowing about these guys. i think this came from jess. so thanks!

i would describe sleepytime gorilla museum as the blue man group if they were goth farm-girl technophobe metal-head antebellum freak show street performers. you know the ones i mean! i would recommend them, especially if you think sufjan stevens' live performance does not have enough naked people hanging upside down in cages.

finally something to put in my cubicle.
this actually made me feel better!

i'm going to see sleepytime gorilla museum play at the double door. they are avant garde metal performance art, apparently. many of their songs seem to address the terrifying isolation of man that results from the advance of technology! this song is about a roach though.

if it needs to be funny, just add fart sound effects to some or all of the panels. INSTANT COMEDY

if you want to see another comic by me today, mike stevens' spx report has one i put in his sketch book waaay down near the end. it has swears!

also, this song contains one of the oddest romantic sentiments put to music, i think.
